…I’m very excited to be visiting NY for the first time in a couple of days and being there to attend the opening of the group exhibition ‘A Portrait Apart’ at Porter Contemporary! The exhibition opens 9th June and runs until the 10th September with works from 15 artists spanning 6 countries. …So I’m excited to be part of two group shows coming up mid year! It will be my first time exhibiting at Raandesk Gallery of Art in New York where they will be showcasing a Contemporary Portraiture Exhibition of various international artists. I’ll also have a couple of paintings at 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace where the theme of the show will be all about one of my favourite artists..Frida Kahlo. I’ll put up more info closer to the date!

I have a few prints left of Amora and Foster!.  Both prints are from an edition of 20 prints on archival paper. Amora measures 35×36.2 cm with white border and Foster 40×29.6cm with border.  Price is $130 each plus postage.  Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing!

21st August marks the opening of Jessica’s next solo exhibition at Nexus Modern Art.  Jessica’s latest exhibition explores the meaning of family and poses a fundamental question – should the definition of ‘family’ be confined to the constraints of species or should it extend to include those living creatures that form part of the strong emotional bond that binds our experience of ‘family.’

Jessica Charlotte was selected as a finalist for the Lethbridge Small Scale award.
